Aiphone video intercoms such as the JK, JF, JB and GT
series video intercoms send audio, video and power between intercom stations using figure 8 two-core cable.
- Standard PVC two-core cable should not be used between Aiphone
video intercom stations, because the PVC insulation may interfere with the
transmission of Aiphone's audio-video signals as cable length increases.
- Use only PolyEthylene (PE) insulated two-core cable between Aiphone
video-intercom stations.
This PE cable uses PVC on the outer jacket only, as recommended by
Aiphone.
